Field Sales Position for Cabinetry, Counters, Flooring and Tile

We are seeking an outside cabinet sales specialist to join our growing team. Responsible for managing a geographic territory and soliciting all opportunities to offer Remodel Me Today Inc.’s (RMT) products and services to General Contractors, Home Builders, Remodelers and Apartment Building Owners with projects in a defined territory; while articulating the RMT’s value proposition to these potential clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Present and sell company products, and in some instances, services to new prospects/customers.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by set deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales materials to present to customers
  • Develop cabinet business to local builders. Some experience in this or similar products would be helpful.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers needs and interests
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs
  • Estimate or quote prices, negotiate credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors products, prices, and sales
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
  • Must reflect RMT business values in all business interactions
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE and be able to pass a CBC and MVR.


  • 5 plus years previous experience in business to business sales, preferably in the building industry
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detailed-oriented
  • Proven success in a sales territory
  • Self structured
  • 20/20 and/or ProKitchen design experience a plus
