Whole Home Renovation Brookpark Ohio

ramsey kit1 b4  This whole house renovation project was done for Mike & Cheryl R of Brookpark, Ohio.  Mike and Cheryl purchased this home as through the lenders 203k loan program.  This type of purchase allows the buyer to borrow on future value of the home in updated condition.  Once the loan closes the buyer and contractor make required improvements and then the bank approves all work and forwards funds to the contractor after completion.   The project itself entailed several days of demo and then we installed new flooring (laminate and carpet) throughout the kitchen, family room and living room as well as ceramic tile in the two bathrooms.  Additionally, the property had stress cracks throughout the home all of which were repaired and the ceilings on the lower level were all res-textured.  New cabinets in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms were also installed.  The electrical was on old screw in fuses which was upgraded to a 150 amp circuit breaker panel and GFI’s were added where needed to bring their new home in compliance with local city ordinances.

Brian and his Remodel Me Today crew just completed a total home renovation for us in less than 30 days, during the Holiday season. We cannot say enough positive things about them. Each member of his crew was courteous and focused on doing a great job for our family. We purchased a Fannie Mae home that was in need of renovation in the living room, kitchen (which had to have asbestos tile removed), family room (which also had asbestos tile), as well as two bathrooms and an electrical update (and that was just inside the home). They also did a complete tear off and replacement on the garage roof, patched the house roof, did a tuck and point on the chimney, and replaced a concrete slab. They completed a full cleaning on the duct work within the home, performed mold testing and scoped out the sewer lines to make sure we would not have any issues related to the home being vacant for over two years. Not only were their prices reasonable, but he was able to work within our budget and still do a first class job for our family. Brian did an outstanding job working with the bank through the 203k stream line loan process, and even kept us calm enough not to walk away when the loan process got to be overwhelming. If there were any changes that needed done to the original plan, Brian was patient with a goal of making sure the job was completed to our satisfaction. They were on time, ready to work and a pleasure to do business with. With all the horror stories we had heard, and the issues that we were having with other contractors, We are thankful that the Lord crossed our paths with Remodel Me Today!!!
